Synergy Ultrapure Water Systems
Type 1 reagent grade water with a flow rate above 1 L/min
Ultrapure Water from Pretreated Water for Critical Applications
Synergy systems are designed for laboratories that already have access to purified water and need a point-of-use system to supply high quality ultrapure water.
The systems’ compact design, along with the versatile Remote dispenser, ensure easy installation anywhere in your laboratory, either on the bench or wall-mounted. You choose the setup that perfectly matches your needs.
For applications requiring very low organic contaminant levels, the Synergy UV system also incorporates a dual wavelength UV lamp to produce water with < 5 ppb TOC (when feed water TOC is below 50 ppb), making it suitable for HPLC, GC, ILC and TOC analyses.
With the Application Pak cartridge of your choice as a final filter, Synergy systems produce ultrapure water free of pyrogens, nucleases, proteases, VOCs, trace organics, or endocrine disruptors to meet your specific needs.
Applications
● LC buffer preparation
● HPLC isocratic and gradient solution preparation
● Sample dilution
● Buffer, reagents for molecular biology and cell culture media preparation
● Preparation of chemical solutions used with titrators, spectrophotometers and electrophoresis systems
Features
● Produce Type 1 water (18.2 MΩ·cm at 25 °C ultrapure water) on demand from pretreated water (reverse osmosis or demineralized water).
● Maintenance reduced to a single cartridge change once or twice a year, depending on the volume produced and the quality of the pure water feed.
● System designed for users needing between 2 and 100 liters of ultrapure water per day with instant flow rate of 1.5 L/min.
● Quality suitable for HPLC and other spectrophotometric/spectroscopic analytical techniques for biological, biochemical, and cell culture applications
● Dispensing adapted to different size laboratory glassware
● Time-saving fixed-volume dispense.

Feedwater requirements
Feed water for use with Synergy systems should be pretreated Type 2 or Type 3 grade water delivered at 0.3 bar maximum pressure. Recommended sources: RiOs system reverse osmosis water, and distilled or DI water.
The Synergy system is connected to a reservoir or a ½” Gaz M DI line with built-in strainer and 8 mm OD tubing.
* A pressure regulator should be installed upstream of the Synergy system if feedwater pressure is above 0.3 bar.
