NPT / MNPT Fittings

Galtek® Threadable Pipe Fittings

All PFA construction* provides chemical resistance both inside and out. Suitable for high-purity, chemical handling applications in the semiconductor, chemical and other industries worldwide.
Wide range of styles and sizes to adapt to other PFA fittings and PFA threaded pipe systems. 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", 1/2" and 3/4" sizes available in most configurations, 1" sizes available in limited configurations.

NPT Fitting:
● PFA fittings designed to connect to standard NPT threaded components.
● Wide range of product type is available.
● Pipe unions use a natural PVDF lock nut.

Schedule 80 Threadable Pipe Fitting Connections

Operating Parameters of 1/8" to 3/4" PU Series (Pipe Unions)

Pressure Temperature Ratings	-	For 1/8" to 1/2" pipe unions, use the 1/2" curve on the pipe fitting connections to the left.
Pressure Temperature Ratings	-	For 3/4" pipe unions, use the 3/4" curve on chart to the left.
Maximum Ambient Temperature	-	200°F (93°C) for 1/8" and 1/4", 175°F (79°C) for 3/8" and 150°F (65°C) for 1/2" and 3/4".

Pipe Unions

Lock Nut Torque	-	1/8" and 1/4" - Hand tighten plus 3/4-turn by wrench or 40±5 inch/lbs.
		3/8" - Hand tighten plus1/8-turn by wrench or 50±5 inch/lbs.
		1/2" and 3/4" - Hand tighten plus 1/8-turn by wrench or 60±5 inch/lbs.
